Our story has been a long time in the making.

It started many years ago, with questions - and lots of them. 

In 2004, Phil Firkin began a long research journey to understand some of the biggest questions people ask about life, relationships and human potential. Over time, that research uncovered insights that would later challenge much of the self-help space.

At the time, I (Lisa Wende) was nine years old - not exactly researching life yet. But years later, in my young adult life, I found myself asking the very same questions Phil did. About purpose. Relationships. Emotions. What it actually means to live well.

Somewhere along the way, may it be luck or fate, our paths crossed. What started as conversations turned into a shared purpose and eventually into building something together.

Today, Phil and I are the faces of the education. But we are not the whole story.

We are a collective of people who share one goal:
to be better - and to help others do the same.
